Mr. Ahmet Basturk was born in Inegol, Bursa, graduated from Yunus Emre High School in Eskisehir. He enrolled in the Faculty of Law of Istanbul University in 2010, and graduated with honors in 2014. He was registered as an intern with Istanbul Bar Association, completed his obligatory internship in 2015 by working at Ata Patent, Inc. and got a lawyer license in 2015, and stayed here after being qualified as a lawyer.
Mr. Basturk worked as a summer intern and student intern at law offices involved in various fields of law during his education to gain practical experience and to improve his knowledge, was a founding member of Istanbul Law Club, and performed various tasks there. Living a socially active life, Mr. Basturk is also a founding member of the Besiktas Lawyers Association (BESAV) and a member of the congress of Besiktas Sports Club.
Speaking English at medium level and working hard to improve it, Mr. Basturk provides legal support for business law, commercial law, bankruptcy law, intellectual and industrial property law, family law, inheritance law, property and lease law, and association and foundation law cases at Ata Patent, Inc.
Intellectual and Industrial Property Law
Mr. Basturk provides legal support for trademark registration applications, objections to such applications and other legal affairs with the Turkish Patent Institute. He also represents clients at lawsuits filed with the Court of Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights for cancellation of trademarks, violation of trademarks and unfair competition.
